CYT, Forrest Yoga
My deep intention is to support beings
in realizing wholeness and healing, by virtue of yoga and meditation
practice. To that end, I have spent much of my life formally studying
yoga, psychology, Zen, philosophy, music, and science. Through
Forrest Yoga, I encourage practitioners to
examine every movement and sensation of body, emotion, breath, speech,
and mind, from a position of ever-developing lovingkindness and bravery.
It is my experience that this powerful practice, tempered with great
care, does enable us to walk with Compassion, Integrity, Grace, and
Power, as befits our truest nature. In this way, together, we
act to 'Mend the Hoop of the People'. Go Deeper.

Emery Lauten Meadows
Emery has practiced several different forms of yoga over the past seven years. Yet it wasn’t until she tried vinyasa yoga that she felt that “Aha!” sensation and knew that this was the style of yoga she would like to integrate into her daily life for increased physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Emery is now a certified vinyasa yoga instructor through the yoga teacher training program at Joy Yoga Center where she is currently completing her teaching internship requirements. Emery brings more than twenty years of dance training, seven years as a professional massage therapist and ten years study of holistic healing techniques to her yoga teaching and practice. Because she has learned to heal from injury and illness through yoga and other complimentary and alternative practices, Emery hopes to inspire others on their healing path. Emery looks forward to a lifetime of learning and growing through her yoga practice and hopes that you will join her in sharing the power and beauty of vinyasa yoga. ~ Namaste
